When defendant enter his defence?

In the High Court, a defendant shall file his defence before the expiry of fourteen days after the time limited for him to enter his appearance after the statement of claim is served on him, whichever is the later.

In the Subordinate Courts, the defendant is given two weeks to file his defence from the last mention date fixed if he has been served with the summons and has entered his appearance on or before the last mention date.
