How can I find information faster?

Get a faster modem, an extra-fast connection like an ISDN line or  cable connection.

Upgrade your processor (e.g. Pentium III), RAM size (e.g. 128MB) and video RAM.

Set your browser to load web-pages without pictures if you do not need pictures

Focus on relatively small subject areas for relatively long periods of time.

Bookmark some of your favorite URLs. For example, CNN.com and finmart.com.my for business information. You can obtain them while surfing the World Wide Web or from books, newspapers and magazines.

Some popular sites have one or more "mirror sites" in other parts of the world, carrying the identical information. If accessing one of these, choose the mirror site in a time zone which is likely to be least in demand, e.g.:  between 11pm and 7am local time. An example of the mirror site is www.lycosasia.com  which is a partnership between Mimos Bhd and Lycos Asia Pte. Ltd.
