How you can maximize the event in participating exhibitions & trade shows?

Before deciding to participate in any exhibitions and trade shows, it is important to know who is the organizer, his reputation and track record in organizing such shows.

There are many type of exhibitions. Some are for general products like the one organized at Bukit Jalil where all types of consumer products are display. The purpose is to promote "Buy Malaysian Good".

On the other hand, some organizers are very targeted and they only organize very specific trade shows. For example, the metal & woodworking exhibition & trade show and the plastic moulding & machinery exhibition & trade show by ES Mass Communication Sdn. Bhd., the British Education week trade exhibition, the PIKOM info-tech exhibition, etc.

You would not like to participate in an exhibition where the venue is not appropriate, the facilities are not adequate, the target visitors are not potential buyers and the worst is that the exhibition has to be postponed or cancelled due to permit problems or inexperience of the organizers.
