There are many venture capitalists companies. Sometimes they are called "angels". Some are based in Malaysia while many are located overseas. By and large, most venture capitalists are backed by financial institutions, big corporations or wealthy individuals, many of which are subsidiaries of banks, investment banks, brokering houses, merchant banks or government-backed financial institutions.
