Most venture capitalists want to invest their funds in high technology products, in particular innovative industrial products.
By innovative one means that a product is the next generation in a series. For example, the instant camera, the personal minicomputer, the chip-on-board or a new Internet start-up. The change must be large enough to generate demand but small enough not to create a need for extensive education.
All venture capitalists are looking for sizable markets. If your product is competing in a marketplace that is very large like the Internet market, you will have a better chance of receiving financing. |
