What financial assistance is provided by HRDF?

 

An employer who has paid the levy upon registration is eligible to receive financial assistance at rates ranging from 50% to 80% of the allowable costs incurred for the purpose of training employees under the following training schemes:

 

-       SBL (Skim Bantuan Latihan);

-       PRLUS (Program Latihan yang Diluluskan);

-       PLT (Pelan Latihan Tahunan);

-       PERLa (Perjanjian Latihan Dengan Penyelia Latihan);

-       SLB (Skim Latihan Bersama);

-       Apprenticeship Training Schemes.

-       Industrial Automation Training

-       Retrenched Workers Training Scheme

 

Institutions of higher learning are required to contribute to the HRDF and are entitled to a reimbursement of up to 95% of the cost of staff training in the fields of medicine, engineering and computer science.
