three existing firms of Public Accountants each of which had been in
practice since 1983. |

Hals
& Associates
is managed by a strong team of four highly
qualified and experienced partners, all of whom have gained their
experience with the "Big 5" firms of international
accountants. Mr. Chew Weng Kit is the tax principal; En. Harun Halim Rasip is the partner responsible for quality assurance of the firm; Ms. Dominique Soon is the director in charge of the consultancy division and Mr. Subramanian Sankar is the audit partner. Together with three associates in Johore Bahru, Malacca and Penang, the firm has a staff complement of 114. |
